Davina Davidson's Bio

My name is Davina and I am an 8th grade Math teacher by day and yogi by night! I began practicing yoga in July of 2009 at YogaOne and I quickly developed a passion for it. Albina and Roger are my first teachers and I will forever be grateful, as everything I know about yoga has come from them or instructors they have brought to YogaOne.  Being a teacher is simply a part of my nature however; my journey to becoming a yoga instructor has changed my life in that it brought me back to a place of stillness so that I could truly hear the desires of my heart.  In 2009, I finished my Masters in Educational Administration, and currently I am working on my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership while participating in Rice University’s Entrepreneurship Principals Program.  I am very invested in my career however; yoga is truly what balances me out!  I practice regularly at YogaOne so you will not only see me teaching but you will see me on the mat as well!
