Dana Guerra
Dana’s classes are inspired by her love of the human body and all that it is capable of doing. She truly believes yoga is for everyone and takes pride in helping students of all levels by modifying poses or suggesting up levels when she sees students are ready for a challenge. Dana has an eye for alignment and a gift for hands on assists. You will find her cueing particularly helpful in feeling the pose in a unique way as she encourages you to find your best version of the pose. Most importantly, she ties in how the practice is a tool that helps us all find our best version of ourselves off the mat.

Dana found yoga in 2013 when rehabilitating a cross fit injury. She moved to Houston in 2014 and started practicing at Yoga One. She immediately fell in love with the Yoga One community and all it stands for. She completed Yoga One 200 hour teacher training in the Spring of 2015 and is currently enrolled in their Lead To Inspire 300 hour bridge course to complete her 500 hour certification.

Since teacher training, Dana has weaned herself away from cross fit and other strength training modalities. For her, yoga has offered the safest way to maintain an optimal balance of both strength and flexibility. Dana’s favorite practices include Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga.
