Gina Miller
Gina seeks to create a palpable sense of community, with a focus on self-care, intentional movement, and breathwork in her class. Her biggest gift to her students is hands on assists; she approaches students from a place of connection versus correction. Her intention is for you to find the balance between challenge and ease within your practice.
After practicing Iyengar yoga in early 2000, Gina attended her first hot yoga class and fell in love with the challenging yet exciting experience. Gina started her teaching journey in 2010 and by 2014 she committed to pursue a deeper understanding of yogic asanas, anatomy and philosophy. She found herself drawn to YogaOne’s teacher training in 2016 thus she signed up for the inaugural immersion at Blue Sky Retreat in Taos, NM with her tribe- “True Blue.” Gina is RYT 200 hr., has completed YogaOne’s Lead to Inspire mentorship, and is currently enrolled in YogaOne’s 300 hr. program.

Gina has a background in marketing, public relations and outreach deeply rooted in Houston’s arts and music scene. A Houston native and Inner-Looper, she loves to tout HTX as a cultural mecca. She’ll give you recommendations for our cities many hidden gems. Off the mat, you can find her pretending to be an Iron Chef & skin care expert and giving into her adventurous spirit/‘wanderlista’ vibes by traveling to (semi) exotic places. She is naturally curious about everyone around her and surrounds herself with those who drive her to be the best version of her esthetician/home-cooking/listening/teaching/being self. Join her in a Hot 60 class or high five her at the Y1 Heights studio where she is also part of the Love Squad!
