Heidi Lehto
Heidi teaches yoga with a consistent focus on intentional focus or gaze, safe alignment, and mindful self-exploration. With a background in competitive gymnastics, she understands the importance of alignment to target specific muscles and tissues through asana, as well as to protect the body from injury. However, she believes that a pose should fit a person’s body- and not the other way around.

A native Houstonian, yoga first came into her life in 1995 with a class at the gym and she became more fully immersed a few years later during college with mindfulness based yoga focused on meditation. She has felt and witnessed the transformational effect of yoga practice and study- on habits, health, and happiness.

Heidi is E-RYT 200 certified and currently enrolled in yogaOne Studio's 300 RYT teacher training. She completed her RYT 200 training with Pete Guinosso at Yoga Tree (SF) in Forrest-inspired Vinyasa. She is also Assistant Director of Teaching and a part of the Teacher Training team at yogaOne Studios.

She believes that yoga can benefit everyone- as the heart of the practice is simply presence with breath!
