Marci Izard
Marci’s classes are equally challenging, supportive, quirky, and fun! She loves hot and rigorous sessions which help students burn through layers of stress. Her style is open and candid, and she loves connecting with her students. During Hot, Flow, and Hot Core Explosion classes, Marci compassionately encourages fellow yogis to tune in to the feeling of each pose. She believes this cultivates mindfulness which can transform our practices, and lives. Marci also teaches meditation at YogaOne.

Marci grew up just outside of Hartford, Connecticut and moved to Houston in 2010. Her background is in TV news. After ten years in the business with roles that included anchoring, reporting, hosting cooking segments and a digital mindfulness spot, Marci left to focus on writing books, blogs, and teaching classes. Her first book, Nourishing Your Whole Self: A Cookbook With Feelings was released in 2015. Her album Feel for Peace Guided Meditations came out around the same time. For more go to
